At Norman Salmoni Opticians the health and safety of both our staff and patients is our top priority. Therefore, we have new protocols in place to ensure that you can still receive quality eye care in the current COVID-19 situation.
We have a locked door policy, to limit the number of people entering the practice. Please knock for assistance. Everyone must book an appointment to come and see us, whether it is for an eye test, to collect your new spectacles or for a repair or adjustment. This allows Track and Trace to be performed if necessary. We require all patients who are able to do so to wear a mask for the entirety of your visit, and sanitise your hands at the sanitising station on arrival. All staff will be wearing PPE for your safety. We have allocated cleaning time in between appointments so that surfaces can be disinfected between patients. If you wish to try on new frames, this can be done safely thanks to our UV Frame Steriliser.
The NHS has reported a 36% fall in appointments for eye conditions over the pandemic, worryingly some of these eye conditions could be sight threatening. Therefore, we are proud to welcome our patients back so we can continue to look after your eye health in a safe manner. Please give us a call on 01738 627080 if you would like to book an appointment.
If you are displaying symptoms of Coronavirus please call and we can rearrange your appointment. It is important you do not enter the practice if you are displaying any of the following symptoms:
-A high temperature
-A new, continuous cough
-A loss/change of taste or smell
